Welcome to Healy Literacy! 

My name is Leigh Healy, and I am a certified dyslexia practitioner. I use the Orton Gillingham approach to tutor elementary and middle school students. It is especially designed for students with dyslexia or dysgraphia. It is also effectively used with students for whom reading, spelling, and writing do not come easily! Games, movement, and fun are incorporated into each tutoring session, while providing the perfect balance between challenge and success.  In addition, I offer professional development workshops for teachers seeking to strengthen their structured literacy practices and multisensory instructional strategies.
